Your choice of process (silver halide on Lambda) and matte paper (Fuji RC Mat) will give a very different result compared to the other choices available for this same process, namely satin or glossy RC papers.
This choice means that your images will have less contrast and saturation than if you choose classic satin or glossy RC paper with RA4 color silver processing.
See below for a comparison of matte RC with satin RC rendering.
(Note: the glossy RC finish will be very similar to the satin RC finish.)

If you really want matte paper while maintaining maximum contrast and saturation, we recommend choosing a pigment inkjet service on smooth or textured cotton paper, such as Hahnemühle 310g Fine Art Bright White paper.
See below for the result with pigment inkjet printing, compared to the RC Matte Silver and RC Satin Silver results.

If you stick with RC Mat paper from the Silver Halide on Lambda service, it will work well with clear, low-contrast, low-saturation images (High Key).

However, this will not work well with highly contrasted and saturated images.
And it will be worse with very dense images (Low Key): high densities will be crushed, with little legibility.
